All photographic prints except the Lambda print (detailed below) are cropped and printed on an individual basis, then hand checked, and manually packaged using acid-free materials by Mat Smith Photography. This dedicated service is far superior to that of a consumer, online, or automated print service, as the photographer has full artistic control over crop and print. This quality is noticeable.

Photographic Prints: All photographic prints are high quality Giclée prints made onto premium glossy photographic paper. Print dimension shown on the options list above are approximate only; depending on the aspect ration of the photograph in question the print may not fill the paper.

Extra-Large Lambda Print: ^recommended The Lambda print is the only type of print that will truly do justice to the photograph you are viewing. Lambda prints are exhibition-quality prints, produced by a local print specialist firm. They represent the very best photographic printing technology taken to a state of perfection. A Lambda print will be much better in terms of sharpness, clarity, saturation and quality than any other photographic or inkjet printing process. Lambda gives true continuous tone, ultra-sharp photographic images with crisp and precise edge-to-edge printing and absolutely no distortion. Lambda photographic prints are produced on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. This yields the tactile look and feel of a traditional photograph and is the recommended option for a quality of print that does full justice to the image in question. Prints will last over 100 years. Print dimensions approximately 10x12 inches, however depending on the aspect ratio the print may not fill the paper. A cost for the print to be couriered between photographer and printer is factored in to the price shown.

Framed Lambda Print: The Framed Lambda Print makes for a very special gift, and is delivered ready-to-hang. The photograph is dry mounted and framed to order by a local firm known for their high quality of craftsmanship, and in consultation with Mat Smith Photography. Matting and frame type are selected by the photographer according to the aspect ration, style, and colouring of the photograph. The print size will be approximately 12x16 inches depending on aspect ratio, and the frame size will likely be 16x20 inches.
